Nick Jonas is disappointed his songs Close and Bacon will never be competing for MTV Video Music Awards prizes next week. The 23-year-old singer didn't land 1 nomination once the categories were announced on Tuesday, and that he turned to social media marketing to share his feelings with fans during the road with another snubbed artist, Demi Lovato. "Disappointed together with the fact Close got no adoration for the #VMAs2016," Nick tweeted. Jonas' Close promo grabbed headlines worldwide when it was already released in March for the racy content - Nick with his fantastic duet partner Tove Lo set tongues wagging after locking lips within the steamy music video.
However, despite his disappointment, Jonas will not let the VMAs nomination snub get him down, settling on instead to spotlight the positive things in your everyday living. He added: "Actually after great deal of thought more there are plenty of amazing things happening around my life and career. 9 beyond 10 boxes are checked... Won't allow this to one thing are able to me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful currently. Gonna focus on caring less around the small stuff... Everything is awesome." Nick and Demi weren't the one acts surprisingly left from the nominations list - Taylor Swift didn't pick-up any mentions. Beyonce leads all artists with 11 nods for Lemonade, a job high, while Adele follows with eight on her Hello and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) sheet music visuals. The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards can take place in New York City at Madison Square Garden on 28 August.
