Nick Jonas is disappointed his songs Close and Bacon will never be competing for MTV Video Music Awards prizes next week. The 23-year-old singer didn't land 1 nomination once the categories were announced on Tuesday, and that he turned to social media marketing to share his feelings with fans during the road with another snubbed artist, Demi Lovato. "Disappointed together with the fact Close got no adoration for the #VMAs2016," Nick tweeted. Jonas' Close promo grabbed headlines worldwide when it was already released in March for the racy content - Nick with his fantastic duet partner Tove Lo set tongues wagging after locking lips within the steamy music video.
However, despite his disappointment, Jonas will not let the VMAs nomination snub get him down, settling on instead to spotlight the positive things in your everyday living. He added: "Actually after great deal of thought more there are plenty of amazing things happening around my life and career. 9 beyond 10 boxes are checked... Won't allow this to one thing are able to me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful currently. Gonna focus on caring less around the small stuff... Everything is awesome." Nick and Demi weren't the one acts surprisingly left from the nominations list - Taylor Swift didn't pick-up any mentions. Beyonce leads all artists with 11 nods for Lemonade, a job high, while Adele follows with eight on her Hello and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) sheet music visuals. The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards can take place in New York City at Madison Square Garden on 28 August.

Rihanna is apparently anti-Pokemon after demanding her fans maintain the moment during her concert on Saturday night. The Sledgehammer star brought her Anti World Tour to Lille, France, where she encouraged the thousands from the audience to actually enjoy the connection with the live gig instead of watching her show through the screens in their mobile devices. During her concert, she gave a delivery about being in the second, and called out any consumers popular Pokemon Go app, an augmented reality game where users 'catch' the digital creatures.
In video posted on Twitter, Rihanna is viewed telling her fans, "I do not want to see you texting your boyfriends or maybe your girlfriends. I shouldn't see you catching any Pokemons up in this particular b**ch." The R&B star is not the only celebrity to criticise the app, and some of those who check out same way is Zachary Quinto, who discussed the sport while promoting Star Trek Beyond, a show which features a fresh theme song called Sledgehammer by Rihanna. Speaking of Pokemon mania, Zachary told Entertainment Tonight: "I think it is good that people are engaging against each other, but I seem like the ultimate goal for all of us is to be able to perform that without these units in our hands. "And I realise that technology has evolved then there is a lot of good that comes from that, and I haven't any judgement of folks that are in it, but I think that, exactly how should we facilitate the conversation about connecting without the unit between us?" An overzealous fan was arrested for the weekend after touching Justin Timberlake's neck in a golf tournament in California. The Can't Stop The Feeling sheet music singer was one of many competitors with the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am in Lake Tahoe, even though walking via a group of spectators, he was unexpectedly touched by an attendee, who reached out his hand and patted the correct side of Justin Timberlake's neck. In it footage obtained by TMZ.com, the clearly frustrated singer, who was simply flanked by two security, turned around and yelled in the man, "Why do you do that?" Timberlake then stormed off as security guards in the event confronted the unnamed man. Representatives with the tournament tell TMZ the confrontation was minor and Timberlake, who was without any visible injuries, wouldn't want to press charges. Law enforcement officials the spectator were intoxicated and became belligerent, claiming he only planned to "touch" the pop star. Police later attempt to escort him away from the course nonetheless they eventually arrested him for disorderly conduct, in accordance with TMZ. Despite the strange contact, Timberlake were able to enjoy himself for the golf tournament. At some part during the event the Rock Your Body hitmaker stood a special moment with former Fresh Prince of Bel Air television star Alfonso Ribeiro and professional basketball player Stephen Curry, with all the trio having performed an impromptu version of Ribeiro's classic dance from your old-school TV show, the Carlton, on Saturday. On Sunday, Justin couldn't contain his joy over participating in the golf tournament, writing on his Twitter account, "What a weekend, Tahoe." |
